Top 8 Movies To Watch In 2012

Batman – The Dark Knight Rises

It’s Batman, not much needs to be said as to why this is at the top of my list. Plus I want to see if Bane turns out to be a disaster with his garbly voice.

Underworld – Awakening

I love vampires and Kate Beckinsale plays the hottest, most stylish vampire I have ever known.

Aliens – Prometheus

Anything in space with aliens and theme to find the origins of mankind, instantly hooks me. The first two movies in the Aliens franchise were epic and I would love to see this movie redeem the franchise.

The Avengers

Being a huge marvel comics fan boy, this is just a given that this would make my list. I loved all the Marvel movies leading up to the big Avengers movie, so hopefully the movie lives up to all the hype.

The Amazing Spiderman

I have mixed feelings about redoing a franchise that is still pretty fresh in my head. Sam Rami’s Spiderman was amazing and would have preferred to see Spiderman 4 with a new cast than see a reboot…. but Andrew Garfield is amazingly hot and for that I can’t wait to see him sporting the spidey gear.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

It’s the LOTR’s prequel!! Guillermo del Toro wrote it, Peter Jackson directed it and most of the cast returns to make an appearance. Can’t wait to see this.

John Carter

Don’t really know much about this movie, but it looks beautiful, involves space, aliens and tons of action. It’s worth giving it a shot.

World War Z

There is no official trailer yet for the movie but here is a scene of a zombie attack someone sneaked when the movie was filming.

Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! I’ve had such a zombie craving ever since the 28 Days/Week movies. The book was amazing, the movie is big budget and has a cast that includes Brad Pitt and screenplay written by J. Michael Straczynski from Babylon 5 fame.
