Get ready for the new JJ Abrams’s NBC post apocalyptic show – Revolution

The new JJ Abrams tv show deals with some kind of world wide catastrophe that disables all technology from computers to batteries resulting in a post apocalyptic environment where chaos ensues and governments fall. It actually reminds me a lot of S.M. Stirling’s The Emberverse series where an event causes “electricity, guns, explosives, internal combustion engines, and steam power no longer (from wiki)” work.
